I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself, and help answer a question you may be asking yourself:

First I’d like to tell you a quick little story about myself and how I got to the point where I decided I would dedicate my entire practice to helping defend California employers and business owners like yourself.
Long before I became an attorney and opened my own practice, I was an entrepreneur and business owner just like you. From running my first lemonade stand when I was 8 years old, to a car buying business and kick boxing studio opened in my late teens and early twenties, I have always been bitten by the entrepreneurial bug.
I won’t bore you with all the details, but I quickly found out that although it’s great to be the boss and own your own business, there are some extreme risks. One of these risks can come from your employees. I had false claims filed against my most successful business by an employee. Because I was not prepared for this, I lost this claim that had very little merit.
I was going through a time where business was growing… I ran the company myself… and I had NO IDEA how to mitigate my risk against these types of claims. I did not get the services of an attorney because I thought I could handle it myself and things did not work out in my favor.
Eventually it got to be too much and I lost this business which at the time was my most successful one. One night I was talking to one of my best friends, and I said “I am going to make sure that never happens to one of my businesses again, no matter what it takes”!
Well, many years later after finishing law school and opening my own practice, I can say that I have kept my promise to myself and made sure I did everything in my power to protect all my companies and business ventures from employee related claims.
My law firm since its inception primarily dealt with employers, business owners, and entrepreneurs in the state of California. We mostly focused on legal contracts and business formations.
